Squash and Racketball at Kings Heath Cricket and Sports Club is a thriving sport always on the lookout for new members.  We have squash coach qualified to level 3 who offers individual and group training sessions.

 

The Club has about 100 members which means that the recently refurbished courts are usually easy to book at any time from 08.20 till 21.50 (7 days a week).  Court booking is made by writing your name on a booking sheet and the use of a light token which can be purchased from the bar for £3.00.

The Section runs healthy and competitive internal leagues and also a squash and racquet ball ladder.  Leagues games are usually played over 4 to 5 weeks.

The Clubs 1st team is currently competing in Division 1 of the County Leagues (a tremendous achievement for a two court Club), whilst the 2nd team is currently in Division 5.

Social Squash games are organised on the last Friday of each month where you get to meet and play different members with no charge.

Internal competitions are being organized for 2009 following the sucess of our recent Swallow cup competition in December.

The Squash Committee are keen to provide a good social side as well as competitive squash.  We aim to listen to members and encourage people to come up with ideas and suggestions.   Please see the latest newsletter above.

 

There is always a warm welcome at the bar after a hard game, where a great pint of real ale and a great choice of reasonably priced food ends off a good night.
